The Civic Social Protection Foundation (CSP), as a technical
partner to Vi Agroforestry under the Agroforestry for
Sustainable Livelihoods and Biodiversity (ASILI-B) Programme,
has been working to enhance social accountability in
agroforestry, food security, and climate change adaptation in
Tanzania. Through Social Accountability Monitoring (SAM),
CSP has engaged local governments and communities in
monitoring resource allocation, policy implementation, and
project performance to improve agricultural practices and
biodiversity conservation. The SAM approach is particularly
critical in ensuring transparency and accountability in public
resource management.
